Clean your Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl step by step

Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl floors are 100% waterproof thanks to their water-repellent coating and watertight click system. This means you can clean them with a wet cloth without worry! Make sure you remove any spills immediately though.

Weekly cleaning: dry

To keep your Quick-Step floor looking its best, simply vacuum or use a dry Quick-Step mop once a week. Its specially designed fibers are excellent at capturing dirt.

Monthly cleaning: slightly damp

  1. Start by thoroughly vacuuming or mopping your floor. For the best results, make sure your vacuum is equipped with soft wheels and a special parquet brush.

  2. Add water and Quick-Step Floor Cleaner to the bottle of your Quick-Step Cleaning kit. Next, fill a bucket with clean water to rinse out your mop.
    • Residential cleaning: approximately 1 teaspoon of Quick-Step Floor cleaner
    • Intensive cleaning of persistent dirty floors: approximately 3 teaspoons of Quick-Step Floor cleaner

  3. Begin mopping and rinse your mop in the bucket of clean water as needed. Then wipe your floor again until all the water is gone.

  1. To avoid scratches, we advise to lift furniture, use felt pads, opt for office chairs with soft wheels, and make sure your vacuum has a soft-wheel parquet brush.

  2. Place a doormat in rooms that lead outdoors to help minimize cleaning and protect your floor.

  3. Clean your floor with Quick-Step approved products.
