COMPETITION RULES: "Win 30m² floor"

ARTICLE 1

UNILIN bvba, with the registered company office at Ooigemstraat 3, 8710 Wielsbeke, Belgium, entered in the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under the number 0405.414.072 in the register of legal entities of Ghent, Kortrijk department (hereinafter referred to as: "UNILIN") is organizing a competition with no obligation to purchase, which will begin on May 4th, 2024 and end on May 12th, 2024. This competition will only take place on United Kingdom territory.

ARTICLE 2

These regulations set out the general terms and conditions of participation which apply to this competition.

ARTICLE 3

Participation in this competition is open to anyone aged 18 and over who is resident in the United Kingdom, with the exception of the organizers of this competition, as well as all direct and indirect employees of UNILIN and of all other persons who were involved in creating this competition. This exclusion from the right to participate in this competition also applies to first-degree relatives of the persons specified in the previous paragraph, as well as the persons who are resident at the same address as the latter persons.

ARTICLE 4

UNILIN has the right at all times to exclude a person from participation in competitions organized by UNILIN for a specific period, in the event of a breach of one of the terms and conditions of participation, or in the event of misuse, deception, or participation in a competition in bad faith.

ARTICLE 5

To be a valid participant, all participants must complete the competition form in full.

The selection of three winners will occur via a random draw scheduled for May 15th.

Participation must be completed by May 12th, 2024 at 23:59 at the latest. Only submissions that have been registered at that point will be accepted. Any participation after this point will be viewed as null and void.

Each participant may only participate once. If one person participates several times, only their first participation will be considered. Participants who create multiple profiles on social media and use these profiles to participate several times will consequently also be automatically excluded from this competition. UNILIN and all other intervening companies or persons cannot be held to be liable for losses or delays caused by the Internet providers, energy suppliers or other third parties.

All costs of participating in the competition (telephone, Internet connection etc.) are fully for the account of the participant. Participants cannot reclaim their costs from UNILIN under any circumstances.

Organized and/or collective participation in the competition will be considered as misuse and will result in the automatic exclusion of the associated participations. Participation or any other manipulation using a program or similar method, other than the program on the site, as well as the modification/editing of the latter, is prohibited and will result in exclusion and, if appropriate, in legal action due to infringement of copyright.

Participation is exclusively nominative and participants must not under any circumstances play under various pseudonyms or on behalf of other participants. In the event of multiple participation, all of the participant's participation forms will be rejected and deemed to be invalid.

UNILIN cannot be held to be either responsible or liable for technical problems with the website and/or app that is used by participants to take part in the competition. UNILIN can not be held to be liable to any potential incompatibility between the technologies used for the competition and the hardware and/or software configuration that is used by participants.

ARTICLE 6

UNILIN cannot be held to be liable for any possible accidents or damage that are directly or indirectly related to a prize that is won. A prize cannot be shared and must be accepted as it is awarded.

ARTICLE 7

Each of the three winners will receive 30m² of Quick-Step flooring of choice (excluding installation & accessories).

When the winners are identified, they must provide a copy of their identification. If the details that were submitted are not identical to those on the identification, the price will not be handed over and it will be awarded to the next person on the list of winners.

These prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged and no monetary equivalent can be paid out.

ARTICLE 8

UNILIN reserves the right to change the promotion or its procedure if this is justified by unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside their control. UNILIN cannot be held to be liable if, as a result of circumstances outside their control, the competition has to be interrupted, delayed or canceled, or if modalities within it have to be changed or adapted.

UNILIN rejects all responsibility and cannot be held to be liable for any loss and/or late delivery of the prizes, whether or not this can be attributed to the company responsible for delivery.

By participating in the competition via the Internet, participants acknowledge and accept the characteristics and the limitations of the Internet in terms of the technical performance capacity, the response time for consulting, requesting or transferring information. UNILIN cannot be held to be liable under any circumstances for the fact that certain details are not protected against their potential extraction and against the risks of infection by potential viruses that are in circulation on the Internet.

UNILIN takes every precaution when organizing the promotion and managing the website. Nevertheless, it is possible for information to be incomplete or incorrect. Any inaccuracies, spelling mistakes or other comparable errors on the website or on other (promotional) material published by UNILIN cannot be used against UNILIN, nor can this be used to create an obligation on the part of UNILIN.

ARTICLE 9

UNILIN reserves the right to hand the prizes over to the winners and to use their name as well as photos of the handover and the post-placement, for promotional purposes as set out in article 13 of these regulations.

ARTICLE 11

Simply by participating in this competition, participants acknowledge these regulations without any reservations and no disputes whatsoever will be accepted in this regard. Any complaint relating to this competition must be submitted in writing within seven working days of the end of this competition, as set out in article 1 of these regulations, to the registered company office of UNILIN. The complains will not be dealt with verbally or by telephone under any circumstances. Complaints that are submitted outside the deadline or that are not made in writing will not be dealt with. These regulations are subject to Belgian law and any conflict relating to their application is governed by the authority of the Kortrijk court.

ARTICLE 12

This promotion is in no way sponsored, approved or managed by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. UNILIN will indemnify Facebook against all negative consequences for Facebook that may result from this competition.

ARTICLE 13

UNILIN considers the protection of personal data to be extremely important. All collecting and processing of personal data is done in compliance with the provisions as set out in the Act of December 8, 1992 on the protection of privacy concerning the processing of personal data (hereinafter referred to as the "Privacy Act"). The Privacy Act is available via the website www.privacycommission.be/en. The responsible officer for the processing of the personal data is UNILIN.

By participating in this competition, all participants confirm their acknowledgment of these warranties and their consent to the processing of their personal data as part of this competition. UNILIN collects and processes personal data from the time of participation in the competition. The information that is collected relates to contact information for participants. This personal data is processed exclusively as part of our competition with the goal of firstly identifying participants in the competition, and secondly maintaining communication with participants in relation to the competition.

This data will not subsequently be used to distribute commercial or non-commercial information by UNILIN. Your personal data will not be sold to, transmitted to or shared with third parties. The latter with the exception of cases where this is necessary to implement these competition regulations, such as the restricted transmission that is required to award the prize when the competition is won.

After the end of the competition, UNILIN will use an appropriate method to make the winner known publicly. Accordingly, all participants give their consent when they participate to the publication and use of their name, address and photo if they win the competition. Participants relinquish all rights, remunerations and redress in that respect.

In accordance with the Privacy Act, participants are entitled without cost at all times to access the processed personal data, to have this data corrected and to disallow any further processing of personal data for the purpose of direct marketing. This can be done by sending a dated written request to UNILIN, by mail or by email to social@quick-step.com.

UNILIN undertakes to respond to this immediately and at the latest within one (1) month of the request.
